Privacy Policy

Hafiflet (iOS) · Effective date: October 16, 2026

Developer: Çağlar Eker · Contact: caglarekerdev@gmail.com

Hafiflet (the "App") helps you find and delete similar and duplicate photos, screenshots and large videos on your iPhone. This policy explains what the App does — and does not do — with your data.

In short

Photo access

The App accesses your Photos library only if you grant permission, and uses that access for a single purpose: finding similar or duplicate photos, screenshots and large videos. To do this, small numeric summaries (an image hash and a similarity feature) are computed on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks (PhotoKit, Vision). These summaries are not the photos themselves and never leave your device.

You can change or revoke permission at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos.

Deletion

The App never deletes anything on its own. Deletion happens only after you select items and confirm in iOS's own confirmation dialog. iOS keeps deleted items in Photos > Albums > Recently Deleted for 30 days; space is freed only once they are deleted from there as well. The App cannot empty Recently Deleted for you.

Information stored on your device

The App stores only what it needs to work, and only on your device:

WhatWhereWhy
Scan cache (photo identifiers, modification dates, image hashes and similarity features)The App's own folder (Application Support)To make later scans fast. Deleted when you delete the App.
Free-deletion counter (how many items you have deleted — a single number)iOS KeychainTo track your free deletion allowance. This number survives deleting and reinstalling the App; it contains no personal or photo information.
Whether you have seen the intro screensApp settings (UserDefaults)To show the intro only once.

None of this is sent to us. It may be included in your iPhone backups (iCloud or computer) through iOS's normal backup behavior; those backups are under Apple's and your control.

Purchases

Pro subscription purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not see or receive your payment information. The App learns whether your subscription is active only by asking StoreKit on your device. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. For how Apple handles data, see Apple's privacy policy: apple.com/legal/privacy

Links

The "Terms of Use" and "Privacy Policy" links in the App open in Safari. Those pages are governed by their own sites' terms.

Children

The App is not directed at children and collects no personal data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Because we collect no personal data, we hold nothing to delete, correct or export (including requests under GDPR or Turkey's KVKK). To remove the data on your device, delete the App; the free-deletion counter remains in the Keychain and is only a number.

Changes

If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page with a new effective date. If the App ever begins collecting data, this will be stated clearly here and in the App Store privacy label before the update ships.
